Aims
The module aims to provide students with an introduction to the structure of the property markets and the professional skills required for property appraisal. Students will develop understanding of the knowledge and skills required for the inspection, measurement and survey of property assets. Students will be provided with the opportunity to apply the knowledge of property appraisal gained in a practical context.

The structure of the property market, sectors of the residential and commercial property market
Introduction to professional terminology and professional standards related to property measurement, inspection and surveys, and valuation
