Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Exploring History gives students the chance to choose a staff-assigned historical research project and, working in groups, research the material and transfer it into a public presentation, which will be exhibited at the end of the year. Although each group will work under the supervision of a Project Manager – a staff member with expertise and interest in the content of the project – the focus in this module will be on encouraging independent learning and the crucial transferable skills of group working. This will be tested via a group presentation and the final project presentation at the exhibition, consisting of the exhibit and a written exhibit guidebook.
