Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Defining events, planning models and their uses, hazard identification, risk assessment tools and techniques, site planning and customer/client needs identification, introduction to legislation, supplier identification, project management tools and techniques including financial management
Module Overview:
This module introduces you to the application of event planning models, project management and risk assessment techniques to a variety of events. The module will be taught through a combination of lectures, workshops using case studies of real life event examples, and expert guest speakers. You will participate in small group task-orientated activities based around real world event scenarios, including "opportunities" to work on real world events via EventStart.
